adidas revealed the reimagined SUPERNOVA Rise running shoes, part of the Supernova franchise, on 1st December 2023. To engage and educate our retail partners in the UK&I specialist running market, we worked closely with adidas to host an educational event.
SUPERNOVA EDUCATIONAL DAY
Our retail partners were invited to Lee Valley Athletics Centre in London for a Supernova Rise filled day. Product experts from adidas began by delivering product information, including sharing knowledge about the decisions made when designing, creating, and testing the footwear.
Later, we were joined by adidas 400 & 800m athlete Samuel Reardon. Our Running Category Manager Richie Burney hosted a Q&A with Sam to discuss his running career, ambitions and adidas product.
Time to put them to the test! Everyone joined in for a run around the grounds to test the Supernova Rise. Designed to re-define standards of comfort, we asked our partners to think about the comfort on step-in as well as when running. With a lot of positive feedback, we were thrilled with the results.
Overall, we further-educated our partners, strengthened relationships, and gave our partners the opportunity to capture content.
