Specialist Sports Group is a well-established and expanding sporting goods agency offering Sales, Marketing, Distribution and Creative solutions to performance sports brands including world leading brand adidas. Specialist Sports is based on the western edge of Southampton, England.

Specialist Sports have distribution responsibility for 12 product categories across UK, Ireland, Europe and several other territories around the world. The category portfolio includes Rugby, Hockey, Cricket, Tennis, Track & Field, Olympic Sports and Teamwear featuring a range of products used by many of the world’s best athletes and grassroots enthusiasts. Specialist Sports are custodians of the adidas brand in these categories and hold Sports Marketing contracts with relevant Governing Bodies, leading clubs, and athletes.


Specialist Sports are seeking a Digital Marketing Executive to join the team. The role will demand:

  • E-commerce Website Management: Playing a key role updating the website content, products, graphics and copy for B2B and B2C platforms. Experience working with website CMS (eg. Shopify and Magento) and ERP systems (eg. Microsoft Business Central).
  • Meta Ad Manager: Experience using the Meta Advertising platform, able to deliver sales through creating audiences, prospecting and retargeting campaigns.
  • Multi-Channel Experience: Amazon/eBay experience desirable, including Amazon campaign management.
  • Influencer Management: Maintaining and building relationships with sporting influencers to promote brand growth.
  • Social Media Content Creation: Play a key role in creating engaging content and working with creative team, to grow our online community and be the voice of our brands.
  • SEO: An understanding of SEO best practice.
  • Google Ads: Experience in managing Google Ads including Google Shopping
  • Email Marketing: Experience of optimising email campaigns using platforms such as Mailchimp and Klavyo
  • Sales Support: Assisting customer service team with enquiries via email and social media.
  • Reporting: Monthly reporting to stakeholders to assess online performance and ROAS for the month.

  • A keen interest in digital marketing and best practice.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to use Excel to manipulate large data sets to manage data purity across systems.
  • A passion for sport.
  • Experience in running social media platforms Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and Twitter for both paid and organic reach.
  • A good understanding of other digital marketing tools such as paid social media, email marketing, E-commerce, and multi-channel marketing.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Logical approach to problem solving.
  • Great people skills, create positive relationships with customers.
  • Enthusiastic team player willing to assist in all areas of the business.
